YOUR
COMFORT
Managing fear and anxiety is an integral part of what we do every day.
Our goal is for patients to feel
calm and relaxed during all their dental
visits.  Because we understand everyone has different needs, we
customize our approach to suit each person's unique situation.

  • Premedication is routinely used to increase overall comfort
levels for all our patients during most longer appointments; but
our premeds also work extremely well for mildly nervous
patients who need a bit of anxiety and stress reduction.

  • Non-I.V. Sedation is for moderately anxious patients; or
during surgeries where "a little something extra" is needed in
order to be comfortable.  Non-I.V. Sedation is a combination of
medications taken before the appointment and nitrous
oxide/oxygen given during the dental visit.

  • I.V. Conscious Sedation is for those who are more than
moderately anxious, or for anyone who is truly afraid.  It
improves comfort during any type of appointment: fillings, root
canals or surgery.   I.V. Conscious Sedation is also routinely
used for wisdom tooth extractions, multiple extractions and
larger surgeries; so patients can feel restful, calm and relaxed
during these procedures.  This is especially important for young
people experiencing dental surgery (during wisdom tooth
removal) for the first time.  I.V. Sedation is a wonderful tool for
smoothing out what would typically be a more stressful and
    difficult appointment.

What Our Patients
Say:

"I was terrified of
going to a dentist.
Dr. Curry is gentle
and makes me feel
safe in the dental
chair. That has
changed everything."

"My cousin (who's
also a big chicken)
told me to make an
appointment with this
office... that I'd be
glad I did. I didn't
believe her, but it was
true. He's the kindest
dentist I've ever
known."

"I wasn't afraid of the
dentist, but I needed a
whole lot of surgery.
Dr. Curry said it
would be better if I
had some sedation
for my extractions... it
would make it a much
gentler day. He was
so right. What a
difference from my
last surgery!"
